House of Representatives Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, ranked the lowest in a new Republican party poll and is currently the most unpopular democrat in the country.
According to the survey conducted by The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), 58 percent of voters view Pelosi “unfavorably.”
In addition, Pelosi’s approval rating dropped by 13 points in just a year. When Biden began his term her approval rating was 41 percent while her disapproval rating was 52 percent.
In the survey taken from March 12 to March 16, it showed that Pelosi was more unpopular than President Biden with a 44 percent approval rating and Vice President Harris with a 41 percent approval rating.
“Nancy Pelosi is the most toxic politician in the country. Every Democrat who has supported her agenda, which is every single one, is in for a rough campaign,” NRCC Spokesman Mike Berg said.
Pelosi, a multimillionaire and wife of a venture capitalist has also taken a lot of heat in the past over her controversial position on stock trading.
Allegedly, Pelosi accumulated her “wealth through insider trading.” Critics believe that this would explain why she was reluctant in banning the stock trades by members of Congress.
Furthermore, a majority of the voters on a February poll claimed that “it’s time for Pelosi to resign.” However, Pelosi dismissed the wishes of the American people, saying that she’s planning to run for re-election in November.
